Kathleen Denise Quinlan (born November 19, 1954) is an American actress, mostly seen on television and in motion pictures. She received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for the 1977 film I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1995 film Apollo 13. Her other film appearances include Airport ’77 (1977), The Promise (1979), Sunset (1988), The Doors (1991) and Breakdown (1997).
