Kim Victoria Cattrall (/kəˈtræl/; born 21 August 1956) is an English-Canadian actress. She is known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO romantic comedy series Sex and the City (1998–2004), which earned her the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2005, TV Guide ranked her number eight on its “50 Sexiest Stars of All Time” list.
